what's the name of the monastery in leh that you went to?
and what are those little blocks by the highway there??
the monastery in Leh is THIKSEY GOMPA.
and those little blocks...they were a mystery, n no one cud tell me their purpose. someone said tht they were built as small shelters for labourers...but they ended up being left abandoned. and my romantic mind hoped they were the remnants of a lost civilisation!
